Questions & Answers

Question: Who recorded the following song in 1965 with the lyrics: "As I write my letter of the alphabet to yous, tears came pouring from my optics / l remember things we employ to do"?

Reply: The lyrics are slightly different, merely I think this is the song you want: "Come up Domicile" by The Dave Clark Five (1965) YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/sentinel?five=ydfnC7kt1eA

lyrics:

Every bit I write my letter today

Tears kickoff fallin' from my eyes

I remember things we used to say

And the ties that bind our honey

Only 1 matter I want to do

Come up home (whoa yeah)

Come up habitation

Long as I know I'm comin' dwelling to you

I'm comin' dwelling house

Please remember while I'm away

I call up of you night and 24-hour interval

Of the things, of the fun

While we were i

Merely one thing I want to do

Come home, come dwelling

Long as I know I'k comin' dwelling to you

I didn't recall I'd ever be, whoa whoa

Equally bad equally information technology's been, no-no-no

But now I'thou comin' home

To requite you a band

As I write my alphabetic character today

Tears first fallin' from my eyes

I call up things we used to say

And the ties that bind our love

Merely one thing I want to do

Come up home (whoa whoa yes)

Come up home

Long equally I know I'm comin' home to you

Only one thing I want to do

Come home (whoa whoa)

Come home

Long every bit I know I'm comin' domicile to y'all.

Promise this was helpful!

Question: Are humans the simply animal that cries?

Reply: All mammals make distress calls such equally when the young are separated from their mothers, and all land animals are technically capable of producing tears to lubricate their eyes. That'due south not necessarily crying, nonetheless.

Charles Darwin claimed that animals such every bit the Indian elephant or macaque monkey could cry emotional tears, and some pet owners claim their dogs can cry in this mode. Additionally, in 2014 an elephant named Raju who was badly abused for fifty years and kept on a chain along with spikes was photographed crying when he was rescued. When he was transferred to an brute sanctuary out of harm's way, let'southward merely say that his "eyes leaked h2o." I telephone call that crying!

Modern scientists, however, claim that humans are the ONLY animals that cry as a grade of emotional expression.

Question: Is there a song that starts with the lyrics, "I cried a tear"?

Respond: Absolutely. There's a vocal past the astounding Canadian adult gimmicky/soft rock/country crossover artist called "You Needed Me" (1978). It reached #1 on the mainstream pop chart. Here are the initial lyrics and the link to the song on YouTube:

I cried a tear, y'all wiped information technology dry out

I was confused, you cleared my heed

I sold my soul, you bought it dorsum for me

And held me upwards and gave me dignity

Somehow you needed me...

Question: Is in that location an erstwhile country song called "Tomorrow Will Cry"?

Answer: Are y'all sure the title is correct? In that location is an old land vocal with a name that is very similar: "I'll Weep Tomorrow" by Larry Stewart (1993) plant hither: https://www.youtube.com/watch?five=7K1bp2-QKiA

Question: What song has the lyrics, "Tears from the eyes of heaven and they're washing over me?"

Respond: I suspect that yous may be misremembering the lyrics slightly, simply that'south pretty mutual. I searched multiple lyrics databases and did not observe a song that precisely matched what yous recall. I call up I know what song you lot're thinking of, however. "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" past Steve Wariner (1998) describes a deceased loved one whose tears from heaven pour downwardly, and the loved one watches from above. Hither are the similar sounding lyrics:

At that place are holes in the floor of Sky

And she's watching over you and me.

There are 2 reasons I believe this is the correct song: one) its lyrics are remarkably similar and 2) the lyrics you remember nigh heaven having eyes doesn't quite make sense.

Question: What song has the lyrics, "all that's left is a bitter tea"?

Reply: In extensively searching for your lyrics, I didn't detect the exact diction, "all that'southward left is a bitter tea." However, there were about 12-xiv songs with the words "bitter tea," predominantly by lesser known artists. However, note, that Elvis Costello has a vocal called "Speak Darkly My Affections" and information technology has the lyrics, "And all that'south left is bitter barren greed." I'm wondering if this is perchance what y'all think you heard?

Question: What song has the lyrics, "How many tears through the years must I cry"?

Answer: There is a sound called, "How Many Tears" from the Martin Guerre Soundtrack (1999) that includes these lyrics. That's all I plant based on the information provided.

Here are the lyrics:

Oh Lord, I'm not the one to blame!

Oh Lord, why must I live in shame?

Each night, I light a candle in his name.

How many tears through the years can I weep?

How many prayers to the Lord must I try?

Nonetheless, the pain, tears at my broken center.

Sometimes I experience, I was cursed from the start.

All I could hope, all I could see.

And so full of promise, each twenty-four hour period reaching out before me.

Once, now in that location's nothing, lost as if yous never saw me.

How many tears through the years can I cry?

How many tears until my eye runs dry?

Through the fights, that a woman must fight.

Only to do what she feels must exist correct.

Sometimes I wonder if someone hears

Why must I live through so many tears?

Question: Is there a song from the late 1970s or early on 1980s with the lyrics, "I'm laughing on the outside just I'one thousand crying on the inside?"

Answer: A popular song beginning published in 1946, "Laughing on the Outside (Crying on the Inside)" has been recorded by multiple artists through the years (charting multiple times), including Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Kaye, and his Orchestra, and The Four Aces. Hither are the lyrics:

The crowd sees me out dancing

Carefree and romancing

Happy with my someone new

I'm laughing on the outside

Crying on the inside

'cause I'm still in love with you

They see me nighttime and daytime

Having such a gay time

They don't know what I go through

I'k laughing on the outside

Crying on the inside

'cause I'grand still in love with yous

No 1 knows it'due south just a pose

Pretending I'thousand glad nosotros're autonomously

And when I weep, my eyes are dry

The tears are in my heart

My darling, tin can't we brand up?

Ever since our breakup

Make believe is all I do

I'k laughing on the exterior

Crying on the inside

'cause I'm still in love

I am still in honey with you

kallini - Sometimes you just have to let the tears out, or the pressure level threathens to force their manner out, and that would be worse, very unpredictable as to time, place, and object. You sound like an inordinately gifted and educated lady who can connect many concepts that for others might seem a reach. I empathise the connectivity function.

F.A. I experience similar my comments for your great "song" hubs may exist repetitious, but I tin can just say what they are! A walk downwardly memory lane, educational and and then much entertainment! Thank you for each work of art!

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I don't cry all that easily, but well up at absolutely not-important moments - I guess it'due south a disorder (not my mistake, they put me on drugs and messed up my head for practiced).

Then, yes, depending on I don't know what I tin be a Drama Queen and I liked "Angels Cry" (maybe I just like the tune and voices), I can be completely common cold. When I cry is when I watch movies, but, of class, information technology has to exist a very, very well-acted pitiful moment.

Last time I was weeping (every time I watched that scene) at "War and Peace". It gave a me a adept crying outburst for a year.

It's interesting how music affects us. I know a song which is mostly positive and optimistic, but it begins with "You volition cry, like an autumn rain you will cry, y'all'll go away and never forgive yourself..." (very conveniently in Italian, of course), but then everything will change...

Information technology was my crying vocal back in 2012. So I watched an Italian (movie noir) which is "one time seen never forgotten" and that song was one of the central themes. Put together - the song and the film - have such an effect...

and nonetheless, others would say "What's the large deal?"
